Product Specs & Compatibility

What is the weight capacity of Riley Ramps?

Riley Ramps are designed for adult riders and built to handle the high-impact demands of standard mountain biking. Our heavy-duty 1/2" birch plywood layouts comfortably support full-size mountain bikes, electric mountain bikes (e-MTBs), and geared-up riders. As with all riding equipment, users should ensure their total combined weight (rider, bike, and gear) matches their individual skill level, and should inspect the ramp layout for stability before every session.

Are the ramps portable?

Yes. Every model is built for easy transit, with most ramps weighing just 20 to 26 lbs to keep them light enough for anyone to carry. They feature built-in finger holes directly in the deck so you can carry your ramp comfortably like a briefcase, alongside straps designed for over-the-shoulder carrying. Whether you are throwing it in your trunk or walking it down to your local spot, moving your ramp is effortless.

Do I need tools to assemble the ramp?

No tools are required. Our ramps use a smart slot-and-tab interlocking system that snaps securely together by hand, making setup and tear-down completely hassle-free.

How long does it take to assemble a Riley Ramp?

Most of our standard ramps take just 3 to 5 minutes to set up completely. Larger ramp packages, such as the Launch'R Tabletop setup, take about 6 to 7 minutes to fully assemble.

Can I connect multiple ramps together?

Yes. Our modular layout allows you to link specific decks or place them consecutively to build out progressions, tabletop lines, and custom backyard setups.

Is the ramp surface slippery, or does it have traction?

Our ramps offer excellent natural traction for a confident ride. The wood finish is stained, which enhances the appearance and color without altering the grip of the raw wood grain. The natural wood texture provides a reliable, non-slip surface under standard conditions, ensuring bike tires bite cleanly and standard riding shoes maintain a firm grip when walking on the deck.

Can these ramps be used for skateboards?

Our ramps are custom-tailored for mountain bikes and BMX tires. Because they feature a 1/2-inch entry lip and micro-gaps between the interlocking modular decks, they are not optimized for small skateboard wheels.

How should I maintain and store my ramp?

To ensure long-term structural integrity, store your ramp in a dry, indoor location when not in use, as they are not waterproof. When riding, always travel parallel to the gridlines and ensure your tires only contact the intended deck surfaces. Do not case the ramps without a tabletop deck attachment.

Can I purchase spare or replacement parts?
